Josh Frankel, CFP®
Josh Frankel, CFP®, is executive vice president for West Bearing Investments, a division of Ferguson Wellman. Frankel is a portfolio manager with individual and institutional clients concentrated in Portland, Vancouver, Eugene, Bend and Medford. Frankel possesses a range of professional experiences that enable him to provide a high level of client service and guidance on investment management and planning. As a Certified Financial Planner, Frankel follows a disciplined process to fully understand his clients’ goals to provide the best possible investment counsel.
Prior to joining West Bearing, Frankel worked as a financial advisor and retirement planning specialist for Merrill Lynch. He also gained experience in marketing and business development through his work at General Motors R*Works and EJ Gallo Winery after college. He earned his M.B.A. and B.S. degrees from the University of Oregon. While completing his undergraduate degree, he played football for the Ducks from 1996-2000.
Frankel currently serves as board member and past chair for the Oregon Club of Portland, as a board member of New Avenues for Youth, as a board member of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation and serves on the executive committee for the Oregon Jewish Community Center. Frankel is past chair of Greater Portland Hillel. He lives in Southwest Portland with his wife, Amy, and their three children. Frankel enjoys running, mountain biking, and golf in his spare time.
Lyndsi Fink joined West Bearing Investments in 2014 and is an investment associate. She assists clients in a variety of ways, such as transferring and distributing assets, generating tax information, distributing performance reports, setting up new accounts and handling special requests. Fink also supports the marketing and investment teams of Ferguson Wellman with special projects.
Fink earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and minor in business administration from the University of Oregon. She has passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, exploring the outdoors and traveling when possible.
charissa anderson, cfp®
Charissa Anderson, CFP®, senior vice president, joined West Bearing Investments, a division of Ferguson Wellman, in 2017 and serves as portfolio manager. Anderson is a Certified Financial Planner® professional (CFP®) and adheres to a disciplined approach and process to fully understand her clients’ goals and then provide the best financial and investment counsel.
Prior to joining West Bearing, Anderson was a private bank advisor at Umpqua Private Bank for six years, providing wealth management solutions for high-net-worth individuals. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Portland State University and her Certified Financial Planner® designation and Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Portland.
Anderson serves on the board of directors for the Classroom Law Project. In her free time she and her husband enjoy spending time with their young daughter, traveling, discovering Portland’s dining scene and exploring the Pacific Northwest outdoors.
